It is said to possess a scent of luxurious mocha, creamy cappuccino, orange, and fruit cake filled with raisins, cherry liqueur, and sandalwood.
The palate offers notes of velvety spice, dark chocolate tiramisu, Seville orange peel, toasted almond, and crystallized ginger, culminating in an extended finish of amaretto-laced mocha, morello cherry, sultana, and indulgent caramelized crème brûlée. Bottled naturally at 58.2% ABV, Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 12 will be obtainable at retailers worldwide from this month onwards and is suggested to retail at £75.00.
Today, GlenDronach is owned by Brown-Forman Corporation, which also owns other well-known whisky brands such as Jack Daniel’s and Woodford Reserve.
