Oceania Cruises has unveiled an exciting new project in honor of its 20th anniversary and the launch of its latest luxury ship, Vista, which will captivate whisky enthusiasts sailing during her inaugural summer season in 2023.

Oceania Cruises, a premium cruise line known for its luxurious amenities and outstanding culinary offerings, has recently announced a new addition to its impressive selection of spirits. The cruise line has revealed that it will offer a unique whisky on its upcoming ship, which will launch in 2023.

The whisky, specially curated for Oceania Cruises, is a single malt scotch whisky aged over 25 years. It has been selected from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland, and it is sure to please even the most discerning whisky connoisseurs.

On April 20th, Oceania Cruises announced a collaboration with Scotland-based Chapter 7 Whisky to offer a limited quantity of 304 bottles of 20-year-old, small-batch cask whisky for sale aboard the Vista ship during its Mediterranean cruise this summer.

The Vista ship is currently being constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy, and is expected to be delivered to the company this month. This partnership with Chapter 7 Whisky is a component of the cruise line’s agreement with the retail operator Harding. The Vista is the first of two Allura-class vessels built by Oceania Cruises.

“We are enthusiastic about the immersive strategy that Harding+ and Chapter 7 are implementing for the debut of Vista and the ongoing festivities for our 20th anniversary,” stated Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises.

Harding+ has created a documentary highlighting the whisky-making process, from cask selection to bottling and palate testing, to commemorate the development of the unique cask.

On May 8th, in Valletta, Malta, Vista will christen its newest ship, which has a gross weight of 67,000 tons and is specifically tailored to affluent travelers and food and wine enthusiasts.

The ship’s godmother, Giada De Laurentiis, a renowned chef, and acclaimed food personality, reflects Vista’s emphasis on cuisine, as announced by the company in February.

The inaugural Mediterranean season of Vista has already sold out, and the ship will be relocating to PortMiami during the fall to provide Caribbean sailings for the winter season.

The boat will visit various destinations, including Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Belize, St. Johns, Martinique, Barbados, and Grenada. Vista is scheduled to return to the Mediterranean in the spring of 2024.

As Oceania Cruises, a Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings subsidiary, puts the finishing touches on the new vessel, they have revealed some of the onboard programs that guests can anticipate.

They recently disclosed information regarding three prominent stage productions to be presented onboard: Headliners, The Anchor Inn, and Into the Night. These Broadway-quality shows offer an immersive experience to the audience, featuring beloved songs that will entice cruisers to sing along.

The dance numbers in Into the Night will be led by Britt Stewart, a choreographer for the popular television program Dancing With the Stars.

Scheduled to launch in 2025, the cruise line’s upcoming vessel, the Allura, will be the second ship of the Allura class.
