The Margaux Cask Finish Edition of Chivas Regal 18 Year Old is a limited-edition mix of Chivas Regal 18 Year Old that will be sold only at worldwide travel retail.
According to parent firm Pernod Ricard, “carefully chosen high-end barrels” were used in the blending and aging of this inaugural installment of the Chivas 18 Wine Cask Series.
The limited edition may be purchased for USD 137 at any Global Travel Retail location right now. In the future, Wine Cask releases will be sold solely at airports across the world.
Chivas’ Master Blender Sandy Hyslop and his crew crafted the series to complement the original Chivas 18’s flavor profile.
According to Chivas Regal, “the finishing from the Grand Cru Margaux Wine Cask brilliantly enhances the flavors of delicious red fruits and gentle sweetness of Chivas 18 Whisky.”
The unique mix has a rich golden color and is bottled at a high alcohol content (48 percent) to enhance the concentration of flavor.
